1. How do handplanes work and are they suitable for everyone?

YES! The handplane works by providing a planing surface and generating lift. So whether you’re a kid whose 4’ tall or a grown adult whose 6”5 and 100kgs the lift generated will reduce your drag and make it MUCH easier for you to catch waves and ride them faster , longer, and with more control. On top of this, our fully adjustable handstrap means the handplane can be suited to any hand size.

The only prerequisite to bodysurfing is the ability to swim, if you can swim, you can bodysurf.

2.Do body surfers need swim fins?

Swim fins become necessary once the body surfer is catching waves in water that’s out of their depth. If you’re able to kick off the sea floor and jump into the wave you don’t need swim fins but as soon as a bodysurfer goes beyond this point the fins provide you with enough power to match the speed of the wave and ultimately catch it.

3. Can I exchange or return the gear if the size isn’t right or I don’t absolutely love it?

YES, all of our handplanes come with a TRY FOR FREE FOR 30 DAYS policy which means you can surf your heart out for 30 days and if you dont love it tyou can return and you’ll get a full refund on your purchase.
